Introduction

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the www.thanks.computer website (the "Site") operated by Lorem Industries, Inc. ("Lorem Industries," "we," "us," or "our"). By visiting the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms cover the marketing website only. The thanks, computer. engine itself is open-core software and is governed by the license shipped with its source. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to the engine source or modifies that license.

Use of the Site

You may view, share, and link to pages on the Site for personal, educational, or business purposes. You agree not to:

  • use the Site in any way that violates applicable law;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or our infrastructure;
  • use automated systems to scrape the Site at rates that disrupt service for other visitors;
  • misrepresent your identity in messages submitted through the contact form.

Intellectual Property

The Site's design, layout, copy, images (including the wordmark, OG share images, and CLI banner), and other content are owned by Lorem Industries or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce them outside of personal sharing and linking without permission.

The Engine Has Its Own License

The open-core thanks, computer. engine source code, including the txco CLI, the admin UI, the txcl language, and supporting libraries, is published at github.com/loremlabs/thanks-computer under the license declared in that repository. Your rights to use, modify, or redistribute the engine are governed entirely by that license. These Terms do not grant or restrict those rights.

Disclaimer

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of any content on the Site, including but not limited to roadmap descriptions, performance claims, and external links. Marketing copy reflects our current intent and may change without notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lorem Industries and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party services including GitHub (issues, discussions, source), our hosting provider, and our email-delivery provider. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will revise the "updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after the updated Terms take effect indicates your acknowledgment of them.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
